The BWK's skilled labour campaign

Environment: Your future thing

is the BWK's young talent and skilled worker campaign. It is aimed in particular at young people who want to do more. More for climate protection, more for people and more for the future. Studying with an environmental engineering focus opens up opportunities. For you and the environment. Here you can make a difference and have secure career prospects in a job where you can shape the future.

The BWK is the trade association for water and waste management, civil engineering and environmental technology. Our members see that the lack of qualified personnel will jeopardize many developments, e.g. climate protection and the energy transition. Without experts who plan and support the maintenance and development of our infrastructure, the future cannot be shaped.

The aim of the BWK Young Talent and Skilled Workers Campaign is to pass on some of the enthusiasm we feel for our professions to prospective students and show them how exciting and important careers in water management, waste management and environmental technology are.

Your future: environment

The challenges of the future require tomorrow's solutions today. Extreme weather conditions, drought, floods, heat and cold demand answers and qualify people who can provide these answers. Problems that we cannot solve today will affect our lives tomorrow. As a graduate of a relevant degree course, you can help to ensure that these problems are dealt with responsibly and solved sustainably.

It's your future: the environment.
